More About Me

As a child and adolescent growing up just 15 minutes over the bridge in South Jersey, Layla spent many weekends roaming South Street and has fond memories of strolling along the cobblestone paths on class trips to Old City. Philly always felt like her happy place, and after moving here almost 11 years ago for college, she has never looked back. Layla holds a dual BA in Psychology and Theater from Temple University (Go Owls!) and has worked with multiple families as a nanny over the past 10 years. More than anything, she has always wanted to find a way to help people and is so excited to do so as a real estate agent. She has a genuine sense of empathy and understanding for the stress and uncertainty that can come with finding/buying/selling a home. Her unique background in psychology, childcare, and theater has molded her into a pep-talking, problem-solving machine with expert communication skills. She knows how to listen to and advocate for the needs of her clients through the lens of understanding the difference between what makes a "house" vs a "home" for each person. Her friends and family describe her as trustworthy and warm, and she is the person that will tackle stressful stuff head-on, providing her real estate services in a professional, efficient, and diligent manner, making you laugh and putting you at ease along the way. In her free time, she enjoys singing, taking dance classes, spending time with friends and family, and performing in shows with her dance studio community.
